installations, either direct buried or in conduit, or aerial installations. It
means that the cable has been tested, to a limited degree, for low temperature
handling and UV resistance. The purpose for this is to allow the cable to be
exposed for short distances from the network interface device on the outside of
the house, until the cable enters the house. For a true outdoor cable with
Category 5 performance, use 4SProducts CAT 5 Cables. |
